John J. “T-Bucket” Giordano, 72, of Dunkirk, formerly of Jamestown died Monday evening (Nov. 8, 2021) at home following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 6, 1949, in Jamestown, the son of the late John and Rosina (Loverme) Giordano.
A lifelong Chautauqua County resident, John was a graduate of Jamestown High School, Class of 1967. He had been employed as a master carpenter for Local No. 66 in Olean. He was a parishioner of St. James Church in Jamestown.
An avid hunter, he was a member of The Lake Shore Street Rod’s Club and past member of the Turkey Federation. John loved working and remodeling his home.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah (DePasquale) Giordano, whom he married July 25, 1992; two daughters, Dawn Giordano of Raleigh, NC and Joann Giordano of Fredonia; one son, Joseph Giordano of Dunkirk; two sisters, Paulette Martin and Kathy (Tom) Fontana, both of Florida; one brother, Joseph Giordano of Jamestown; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Marie Giordano.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, from 1-3 p.m. at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home, 736 Central Ave., Dunkirk.
