Paul N. LoPresto, 86, of Fredonia, died Wednesday morning (Oct. 20, 2021) at Brooks Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 30, 1934 in Buffalo, the son of the late Paul and Carmella (Pallemuso) LoPresto.
A resident of Fredonia for most of his life, Paul had been employed as a filtration plant supervisor for the Village of Fredonia for more than 30 years.
He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church and also a member of the Fredonia Beaver Club and Shorewood Country Club. Paul was an avid golfer with a closet full of trophies that he was too humble to display.
Survivors include one son, Paul C. LoPresto of Fredonia; granddaughter, Stephanie Franklin of Dunkirk; great-granddaughter, Gianna Salgado; two sisters: Jeanette Mula of Dunkirk and Virginia Ark of Silver Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie G. LoPresto, who died Jan. 20, 2010; five sisters: Connie Leone, Josephine Elwell, Mildred Cottone, Marie Elliott, and Lorraine Paradiso; and one brother, Norman LoPresto.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Orchard and Cushing Sts., Fredonia. There will be no prior visitation.
Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
