Samuel J. Crino, 71, of Windber, Pa., formerly of Dunkirk, died unexpectedly Friday (May 28, 2021) at home.
He was born March 24, 1949, in Dunkirk, the son of the late Dominick and Grace (Ricotta) Crino.
Sam graduated from Dunkirk High School with the class of 1967. After furthering his education, he began his life long career with K-Mart, where he retired after 40 years as a store manager.
Sam leaves behind his loving sister, Phyllis Siracuse of Dunkirk; sister-in-law, Joan (Schmidt) Crino of Erie, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael D. Crino; one brother, Nick Crino; and four sisters: Stella Bozella, Elizabeth Miller, Lucille Newell and Frances Granata.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 8, at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church. There will be no prior visitation. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Sheridan.
