Danny was well known in the Dunkirk community and enjoyed his memberships in the Con Club, Lakeside Club, WWII Vets, John T. Murray VFW Post 1017, American Legion Post 62, Columbus Club, Dom Polski, Monnies, Dog House, Fourth Ward Falcons, and the Exempts to name a few.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral arrangements are private. A celebration of his life will be held in the future once COVID-19 is no longer a danger to the public. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
I am truly sorry to hear of your loss, and wish to let you know you are all in my prayers during this difficult time .
Danny was a very gregarious and opinionated individual. He did not sugarcoat his thoughts – there was no gray area. This is a reason why I liked him. Danny was a helpful soul who would definitely go above and beyond for a friend and or an acquaintance. If you were his friend – you were his friend for life. He came from a wonderful family. May God bless them all over this pandemic – which we are all living. I would personally like to extend my condolences to the Briggs family during their time of sorrow.
