Rosemary L. Cowen, 76, of Dunkirk, died Thursday morning (Dec. 17, 2020) at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk.
She was born March 8, 1944, in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (DiPalma) LaTona.
A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Rosemary had been employed at Bentley and Renckens Dairy in Dunkirk and had also worked in the office of Dr. Leonard Light. She was an avid animal lover and bingo player.
Survivors include her husband, Charles A. Cowen, whom she married Jan. 16, 1971; one brother, Joseph (Sandra) LaTona of Fredonia; four nieces: Lisa, Lauren, Lydia, and Jolene; and one nephew, Joseph V.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: infant Joseph LaTona and Anthony LaTona.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be in the columbarium of Willowbrook Park Cemetery.
